Hi guys, my parents are acquiring a 6 mth old puppy bitch at the end of this month but I will be showing her. She will be registered in my parents name but what happens when we are filling out show schedules?? We will be showing 2 dogs one registered in my name and one in theirs. Does that mean we wll have to pay twice the entry fees because the dog entered has to be registered in the name of the exhibitor????? Thanks guys, Clare

No, your parents will enter one dog and you'll enter the other. The owner is the exhibitor - but doesn't have to be the handler. :)

HI Clare,

You'll have to fill out two separate entry forms - one for you and one for your parents.  If you and your parents have  different names you can, on your parents entry form, put "Clare **** handling for Mr & Mrs *****" which means the two dogs will be benched together.  Also you can put c/o (care of) and your address rather than your parents if you want all the passes to go to your address.

I'm not sure what you mean by paying twice the entry fee - entries are done per dog as well as per owner.

Yo throw another spanner in the works my parents and I have the same name, plus we live at the same address. Would we still have to fill out separate schedules?

Yeah, you will have to fill out one for the dog that's in your parents name and one with your dog under your name
