The new Lassie film was released on DVD yesterday and as I missed it in the cinema I bought it. Anyone seen it? Okay I'm a big softie. I wasn't crying, I was sobbing like mad. Both hubby and I kept saying we couldn't understand WHY it had got such bad reviews and being described as boring. It was such a good remake of the original and I really enjoyed it.

One fascinating thing was the extra features they add on DVDs, where one piece was about how they trained the FOX. It was clicker traned and did an interrupted recall better than many dogs I see at training club, LOL!!

Having had rough collies I could never watch lassie films as I would sob my heart out so I know for sure I wont be watching it !!

Awww, can't wait.  That's my Easter weepie booked!  It was only in our cinema for a short while and my children wouldn't come with me because they knew I'd be blubbing within minutes.  I was going to go with my work colleague whose sister stars in it, but we didn't make it for some reason.

PS Didn't manage to find a cinema that was showing Grey Friars Bobby either but would like to see that.

I saw Greyfriars Bobby two of my friend's Beardies were in it as well as a lot of dogs from the training classes I go to. I enjoyed it much more than I expected to :D

I saw it on DVD and cried the whole way through! Even in the non-sad bits ... cause I knew there'd be a sad bit coming along soon.
