I was absolutely delighted when I went to a breed Championship show at the weekend for my 9 year old girl to take Best Veteran in Show. I know she looks good for her age but it is so nice when people came over to compliment us. One lady actually said that she thought she was on for the ticket. I never even considered that, but a very nice compliment all the same. Very proud.

Big congrats. Well done! So few veterans are shown, it's a shame, really. So many beautiful old dogs around, that you never get to see. Showed my second oldest (9 years old) last summer, I'm so proud of her, and got many comments on how nice it is to see an old dog at shows. Her getting placings in best bitch classes didn't make it less fun ;-)

Well done don,t the oldies grow on you? T he longer you have them the longer you love them and they develp even more characteristics anf funny little ways. I,ve always really enjoyed my oldies.
