Hi  Need to renew my old wooden whelping box and wondered if anyone had seen or ever used the ones made by Link a Bord ?  They look pretty good and reasonably priced but wondered if anyone had had good or bad experiences with them ?  Thanx H

They look very similar to Snowsilk whelping boxes, I have a snowsilk and it's excellent, easy to take apart and great for cleaning!

I'm using a disposable one this time as ours needed to be replaced and we ran out of time.:rolleyes:
It seems pretty good, but I wonder if it will last the time. All ready it's been stained with the bitches' loss after whelping over the entrance way.
But it is remarkably sturdy and pig rails are a good fit and height.
I wondered about using a crufts freedom playpen next time but think might be too small for a GR.

I've have a Freedom Pen, they are quite big, it measures 31" x 49" x 28" high, what size whelping box would you normally use?  When I have litters due I put my snowsilk box inside the Freedom Pen.

well we are using the XL size and it couldn't be smaller. She's quite a big bitch.....and she has got 12 puppies!!!! Cocktail bar in the corner y'know??!

Thanx for all your comments, didn't particularly want to use a disposable one, would prefer to invest in a re-useable !  Have looked at the snowsilk and also the Link a Bord, liked the link a bord and the price !!!  but wasn't sure if anyone had any reports on them !!  Thanx H
