I need help! I'm part of a display team only small stuff like heelwork etc... and ive been put in charge of sorting out the music we will be working to  worst still ive got 1 week to get something sorted :confused: so we can practice with it before our first show in 3 weeks time. The routine is sorted and will last about 12-15mins and recalls are the main part doing them in different scenarios. We have a few rescue centres around us so thought it would be a good idea to show the crowd that dogs can actually come back from distractions abiet with a little training  :D with a bit of heelwork to music thrown in.
Now i am am a complete loss as to what to choose. I would like a catchy song and last year we had amarillo, scissor sisters and kylie so something along those lines ie with a good beat but it also needs to be different. One song i thought of was sorry by madonna but i need 20 mins of music so we can fade out when were done but allowing enough time just incase something was to go wrong.

PLEASE HELP ME I'M

Oh, what about final countdown by europe? I have always wated to do a heelwork to music/ dressage to music routine to that song, its so powerful! (and very 80's!) Or that recent dance tune that always sounds like the chorus is "call on me" very apt! (sorry i'm not being much help am i, don't know many names of tunes!)
I do a similar thing with my training group, this year we are using the music "dizzy" can't remember who its by, but it goes, " i'm so dizzy my head is spinning etc" we are doing lots of going round poles and twists and stuff. Last year we used amarillo, and we do a line dance to "achy braky heart."

"Who Let The Dogs Out" ?  kind of appropriate :D

"You've got a Friend" by James Taylor :D :D  The AA are doing it at the mo (and murdering it :( :( )  but good for the recall situations ( "I'll come running" ) :D :D

What about Hey Ya by Outkast?  I love that song, it's so catchy and always makes me want to dance - and my dancing is so rubbish I don't ever do it, LOL!
