Well, it's all done!  The dogs are both tattooed - Remy was taken off to be done while I filled in Opi's form, then I went in with her (she gets upset if I vanish, bless her) - bit of whimpering when the holes were made, but nothnig serious.  All forgotten now!

But, that was the easy part of the trip... the rest of the time, both dogs were a flippin nightmare!  I've obviously got a LOT of work to do on their behaviour around other dogs - every two steps at least one of them had a nose up another dog's behind or were greeting a dog, or pulling me towards one despite my attempts to stop them, and whenever we were in one of the indoor arenas (only twice, for tattoing and to buy leads) Remy decided he absolutely HAD to be at least 3 feet ahead of me and pulled like a thing possessed!  And for some reason, he felt the need to try and cross in front of me the entire time - he always, always walks on my left so why he was trying to go right I really don't know.  I'm so glad they both had control harnesses on... but my arms are aching anyway!  Bought some lovely vanilla fudge to console myself though :D

Game Fairs are a wonderful way of socialising dogs and you certainly get to 'experience' their behaviour.  It's very hard getting from one side of the showground to the other whilst still keeping money in your pocket tho'!

I'd forgotten it was the start of the Game Fair season - roll on the CLA (Hampshire this year, campsite booked already!).
