Nope, SilverbriarS Nutmeg, its already gone through :)  They said that was fine and that if you register an affix without an S on the end you have the right to add it on the name if you want.

And we did breed her ourselves, so she'll just be Silverbriars Nutmeg :)  Because of the rather enormous mistake they made they have been very helpful and have pushed it all through very quickly.  We've also just had the dog hip and elbow scored with her other name on it so they're going to have to sort that out too   And they're sending us an official letter about her name change and the reason for it as she has done reasonbly well showing so when we have a litter from her it would be nice if the owners of the stud dog knows that she is the same dog

Hello Jessica, nice to see you have found your way to Champdogs, welcome. :) How is the new Pug baby, and is Riley behaving himself at the moment?
Congratulations on the affix, Silverbriar is very nice.

I wonder when they changed that, as it is quite common in the USA to ahve the affix with apostrope s before the name, but it wasn't allowed here as far as I understood the registration criteria.

W had a famous affix in our breed Holm in the days when the kennel name went on the end and the dogs wer all something Of the Hom, but the last litters had to be registered as Holm somthing whcih didn't have the same ring at all.

My dogs are nearly always registered Briarlow's   ............ and my affix is Briarlow.  I've done it this way for 20 years and never had it sent back.

Oh well shows that it depends who you speak to and to get things clarified in writing, lol :D

Yes, its definately completely ok to add the S as we spoke directly to the people who grant the kennel names because of all the problems we've had!  They assured us it is fine to add the S to the affix for any puppies we have :)

Pug is fine.  Growing really well, and she has turned into my shadow!  Everywhere i go she is behind me, literally   Riley is fine.

Just thought i'd let you all know that we got our certificate through (VERY pretty!!) and Meg's new pedigree which we need to have her hip score re-done.  Now we just have to register the pug with our kennel name, and change the ownership of one of the other labs to add the name on the end!

Let's just hope noone objects now
