Saw this in a tatooists shop window in town yesterday,

One Night Stand

Pretty KC reg Boxer bitch seeks pediree male for romance and definaley more.
To get cute puppies

Interested?? Call xxxxxxxxxxxxx

And a picture of the bitch. oh it makes me mad.

looking in the local paper ther are 5 litters of boxers in a 20 mile radius.

don't expect a response to this post as so many similar topics on he regularly but i was just shocked thats all. (don't know why....)

Seemed a strange place to advertise though, a tatooist. I sthat he first place to spring to mind if you were looking for a mate to breed a litter ;)

I once saw an advert in a chippy for 3 Dobermanns  I contacted a breed rescue person but unfortunatley they didn't offer the 'right price' :( Crazy world...

....You know the thing is, if people don't move in circles which show them there is 'another way' they will do such things. lets face it, if people haven't heard of 'breed clubs' then they might look in the free ads for a stud dog for their bitch and if there are none feel slightly desperate.

You have to understand, ethical knowledge is a bonus not a certainty in breedinga litter, sadly.

Di that is a very good point :)

The internet has had a big influence as well :)

Shame that search engines don't have a 'sensible sensor' when people search so that they get on websites that give out sound information on puppy buying :)

Absolutely agree! hen folks knock people who write saying they wish to stand their dog at stud, or breed from their bitch or whatever I always feel for them. Why wouldn't you? If you have paid decent money for a puppy, it grows beautifully, as would the decent breeding of that dog dictate, you adore it, you think its smart and then people start asking if you are going to breed frm that dog... why WOULD you think there was more to it than finding a handsome enough dog for your bitch of the same breed, or a willing enough bitch of the same breed?
