Press VIEW at the top of the page in Internet explorer , then TEXT SIZE and then alter to suit your eyes :)

You could have hit F12 instead of the return key (I do that sometimes!) and it makes everything go strange. Try hitting F11 and see if that makes it better.
- By Missie Date 31.03.06 16:29 UTC
nope JG that just altered it to 'restore down'
- By Missie Date 31.03.06 16:29 UTC

Right, if we are doing PC sorts can you help me with this one?  When I right click on something and choose Open in New Window, it opens it as a small window instead of the full screen I used to get  any idea how to sort this one? :)
- By Melodysk [gb] Date 31.03.06 16:39 UTC
When the new (small) window opens, resize it by pulling it out top and bottom and sides ...then close it again,. Next time it should come up full size ;)
- By Isabel Date 31.03.06 16:47 UTC
:( No, that hasn't worked.  Obviously I resize them big anyway before closing and that doesn't seem to have any effect for next time either.
- By Melodysk [gb] Date 31.03.06 16:53 UTC
Try maximising the window when it first opens (rather than resizing by hand) press the button next to the red cross, top right hand side, then close down and reopen
- By Isabel Date 31.03.06 16:56 UTC
Sorry Mel, thats what I meant in the second sentence in my last post (did I add that after? can't remember :)) and that doesn't work either.
- By Melodysk [gb] Date 31.03.06 16:57 UTC
Pulling the window out manually with your mouse isn't the same as maximising with the button though, have you tried both?
- By Isabel Date 31.03.06 16:59 UTC
Yes, the official maximiser   and the manual way  neither work :(
- By Jeangenie [gb] Date 31.03.06 17:01 UTC
Mine does that sometimes - I find it goes back to normal once I've closed down all the windows and come off the internet. Sometimes I have to restart the computer though. :(
- By Isabel Date 31.03.06 17:03 UTC
That's what I was pinning my hopes on the first time it did it but this has been going on for a week or more.
- By Isabel Date 31.03.06 17:04 UTC
I had it in my head that there was a restore all things to original settings thingie buttonie somewhere.
- By Melodysk [gb] Date 31.03.06 17:05 UTC
Right, last go LOL This is taken from a Windows help page:

Open Internet Explorer and load a page, right click on a link in that page and chose "Open in New Window"

When the new window opens small, don't use the maximise button to make it bigger, but position your cursor at one corner until it turns into a double headed arrow and drag the window out as far as you can, you can also do the same at the sides.

When you have done that close the first window you opened, then go back to the second window and go to File> Close to close it, do not use the "X" at the top right
- By Isabel Date 31.03.06 17:11 UTC
Wayhaaaaaaaaaaaay!
Genius Mel!  But it was scarey because I had to close you and wing it alone for the last bit
