Topic Dog Boards / General / Henry 'Hound' vacum cleaner?

Does anybody out there own one? I have a normal Henry who is about 10 years old and still going strong. I had a George before that and I can honestly say after several cleaners in between, nothing lasts or performs like the numatic ones do. I was just wondering if the extras on the 'Hound' version are worth the extra money.

I found that the longer hair from my Collies got caught in the brush and broke it very quickly Phoebe, so I returned it and got the normal Henry. I wonder if the hair from the Tibetans would do the same?

Luckily Flynn's hair usually stays on him till I brush it off. But I could imagine his undercoat (he's shedding at the moment) clogging brushes really easily. I might actually just buy the turbo head rather than a whole new Henry and see how we go.

I have ther Henry Hound Turbo, I and my floors and cars love it!! I have 7 HWV's, a Bracco and a GWP living in the house so it has its work cut out for it. I DONT think my floors are covered in hairs..............but maybe someone who visits is a better commentator than me!!

Ive got the normal henry and I think its great, has a bit of trouble getting hairs of car seats but then what doesnt. also my standards of housework are pretty low.

Your floors definatley ARE covered in hairs Diane, but only the ones still attached to the dogs :P I guess that means it works :D
