I don't know if anyone could help me but i wondered, if i have a dog who is registered in my name, can i still put a affix on which is registered to my mom and i? Or does the dog have to be registered to us both? Hope that make sense lol! I need to send my new puppies registration off today but need to know who to register him with. Thank in advance.

To put the affix on that is held in joint names your pup would need to be registered in joint names.
The other road you could go down would be to have seperate interests in the affix but you would then end up paying a seperate maintanance fee for it but could register dogs in your own individual names and put the affix on indiviually.

Edited to add  You could of course reregister in your name only once the pup has had the affix added. The downside being the KC will want another fee.

If you don't mind furnishing the KC with a few more pennies and particularly want her in your name, you can always transfer her back into solely your name when the affix has been added.

Thats not a problem. That's what was done with my aussie kind of.  She was enterd into my grandparents name to add their affix and when that came back my name was then added onto her.  You can transfer ownership however many times you like.

However if this puppy is a bitch and you are going to breed her you will need to put her back in partneship with your mum in order to register the puppies with the affix :)  (Or could you just loan the bitch to yourself and mum?)

I love Lakies and Welsh...hope we will see him at fun day south (if not before). My girl is called Sophie...keeping with the S's. Her first outing will be Border Union...if I've not given up with her by then as she has the typical stubborn "I have shown you I can do it once so why bother again" streak! :D

Lol yes i know a certain wheaten whos name begin with 'L' and ends with 'ottie' who is just like sophie! :D Have to say though norman is twice as norty as a wheaten! And i though that was impossible! lol :D Not sure if we are going to the fun day south as its quite far for us, but im sure norman would love to come and be a pretend wheaten at the next fun day :D He will be old enough to show at paington so that might be his first show! I cant wait!!
