id be really interested to hear from anyone with a case of "unexpected" HD,(or OCD come to that) who fed a natural (barf) diet as a pup.
by unexpected i mean that although your dog has a high score, that the rest of the litter are fine ,as our parents,& other offspring from related litters.
my dog was fed  barf ,from when i got him @8weeks till he was about 18months,when i changed back throgh a number of different resons. My friends pup (GSD) had terrible OCD & he was fed naturally from the same point in time also.
my dog started showing signs @6 months.

ive also heard on the grapevine that this isnt uncommon in Barfed dogs.

any comments, barf+good scores or bad? all results would be interesting

Hi Michelled,

I know a few folks in my own breed who've noticed great improvement to affected dogs when fed on barf but thankfully have never had one of my own suffer from either of these complaints.

Personally I don't see why a barf diet would actually make any difference either way - so just passing on limited knowledge on that from what I've been told.

regards, Teri
