Whenever I feed my pup, as in getting the food into the bowl my pup waits with anticipation but always has to clean her bits first.  Is this odd or normal.  Its not a problem to me but I can always see it coming

That's a great one!  Never experienced that!  My boy does this funny kind of dance and launches himself into orbit!:rolleyes:

Most men only ever dream of being able to do that!  Mind you, life would be quieter if we could train them too!

You know how some pups do a little 'excited/anticipation' wee (My father had a little 'Sprinkle spaniel') it may well be your lil' pup is getting the sensation or tingle, if you know what I mean, hence the licking without the puddle?? :D
