Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Crufts!
- By Chloes Mum [gb] Date 13.03.06 13:34 UTC
Hi All,

I went to crufts for the first time this year and i really enjoyed it! It was a brilliant weekend and im only sorry that we only went for the one day. We went on the saturday and had the pleasure of watching the flyball / utility. It was great and my dog has now been spolit by me shopping through all the stalls!

Anyway enough of that - when do the dates for next years crufts become avaliable? I definately want to go again and also i would like a nearer hotel this time. There was nothing wrong with the hotel we stayed in this time but i think it would be easier to stay nearer the NEC.
Thanks!

I wondered too about how soon the dates come available we stayed at the holiday inn it was very good and 5 mins from the NEC

The dates for Crufts 2007 were on banners outside the main entrance, think its the 8th-11th March, but an email to the KC will confirm them for you. Have stayed in the Holiday Inn and it was lovely, however the Premier Travel Inn we stayes in was very comfy n clean and a darn site cheaper too :D :D

Or was it the Premier Travel Lodge:confused::confused:

Well I was planning to book into whichever one takes dogs as soon as we qualify (!?!) for next year!

We could have a relay/marathon/meet-up/champdogs shop-fest......going from the Wednesday night before to the Sunday after - I'm not suggesting that we stay the whole time :eek::eek: - but we could hand over to the next group .... might be worth considering :D

We stayed at the Holiday Inn as well, we'll probably stay there again next year.  I'm sure the dates are the 8 March - 11 March but i'm not sure what's on which date etc.

when do the dates for next years crufts become avaliable?

If you bought a catalogue they are printed in there, both for 2007 and 2008 I think. If not, I'll dig mine out.
- By carolyn Date 13.03.06 15:54 UTC
the dates for 2007 are
8th to 11th March 2007.
- By Lea Date 13.03.06 18:19 UTC
I am planning on going next year :D
If i am not mistaken It will be, Gundog day Thursday
Pastural and working friday
Terrier Saturday?????
Toy and utility Sunday????
They move round one day a year, so gundog day moves from the Sunday to the Thursday and everything else Shuffles along if that makes sense???? Someone will correct me if I am wrong LOL
Will be going with Mum next year and will probably stay at a travel lodge within half hour drive of the NEC but wont work that one out until nearer the time!!! Will not be showing LOL

hiya any idea which hotels take dogs near the nec  as i think im going to stay over next year and how much are they cheers dawn
- By Brainless [gb] Date 13.03.06 19:23 UTC
It will be gundog thursday, Working Pastoral Friday, Hounds and Terriers Saturday and Utility and Toys sunday.

It works that each group moves forward a day, and the ones on this years last day move round to the bottom again.
