hi everyone. I have recently taken on a beautiful rescued ex racer greyhound called Rosie and I have managed to track her pedigree through her tattoos and i was just wondering if anyone has a greyhound with the parents Larkhill Jo and Goodwins Nicola or just one of those? Rosies racing name was Mandy's Jo. I would really appreciate any replies thanks.

Neither of those ring a bell, sorry - My girl shannie (Bankers Primrose) is out of Clohast Wish by He Knows (Slaneyside Hare).

Shannie is related to your Rosie via a fair few dogs, including Im Slippy, Sandman, Skipping Chick and Monalees Champion (im sure theres more).

Yours was a VERY good dog, open class dog..... bet she cost a fair bit as a youngster.

Thank you for your reply. She is my first greyhound but definately not my last! I don't know a lot about greyhounds and racing so i'm not sure what you mean about her being a 'very good dog, open class dog' could you please explain what you mean, sorry if i sound a bit thick.

As for costing a fair bit when she was a youngster i wouldn't know as we only paid the rescue fee who found her as a stray and she only turned 4 last week.

Hi leanne, i have 2 retired racing dogs and work with racing dogs so if you need any info i should be able to help you. Open racers are faster greyhounds that can compete at tracks around the country where as graded greyhounds run at one track and are graded to run against other greyhounds that run around the same times on the clock. If you look on the website www.greyhound-data.com and type in your greyhounds name you can found their racing history, and litter mates/family tree, you can also upload photos of your greyhound and include your e mail address if anyone connected to your greyhound wants to get in touch, hope this helps
