i have posted on here before about a lady who lives near me and her 2 dogs.
she rescued the dogs as pups after they were dumped, and found by a man who handed them into the vets.
lady went looking to take on the bitch but took on both the dog and the bitch (littermates),

they are beleived to be staffy x collie.

well they are a real hand full. they attack other dogs, attack peopel and each other. they have also shown signs or redirected aggression, if they see another dog they attack each other to the point of drawing blood.they are now about 11 months old.

i had not seen the owner for a little while, but saw her today and apparently she thinks the bitch is pregnant. she has been eating a lot more than usual and her nipples have dropped down and have become large. she has also became a lot of possesive. she had the brother castrated 3 months ago, but apparently they tied about 5 weeks ago. they also let the bitch off while she had her first season and she was tied by a spanial!

they now have no idea weather the brother is the father or the spanial. the spanial tied with her 9 weeks ago and she isnt lookign big at all.  the vet sais they is a very small possibility the brother had sprem left in the tubes but unlikely. owner is now touting round for homes for the pups. if the pups are anythign liek the mother, they are goign to be nasty little things.

That is really sad!!! I can't understand people can be so irrisponsinbe..... I think first of all she has to sort out her dogs and take them to some behaviorist to see whether there's anything that can be done about those aggression outbursts. And she should NEVER under any conditions breed that bitch!! That is outrageous......

The trouble is behaviorist cost moneyand it sounds that the owner doesn't bother
anyway! so She is not going to pay out money for a behaviorist.
They will probly just breed, and end up in a dogs home or rescue.
I have my thought on this anyway.
In my opinion, mongrels, should be spayed free. also dogs that show aggression that is unfounded.
I think the only thing that would stop this kind of person, is to be fined.
When they cause a problem.

OMG, that is awful!  you'd think given the circumstances she got the puppies under she'd have more sense than to let her bitch get pregnant - certainly letting her off the lead beggars belief!

my money would be on the spaniel, btw - between a dog neutered 7 weeks before tying and an entire spaniel, the spaniel is much more likely.
