The Great Dane has my vote - I think she's gorgeous :)
- By bowers Date 09.03.06 18:21 UTC
The big winning rottie just got beaten for best of breed, so he wont make the group.
- By ShaynLola Date 09.03.06 19:21 UTC
Damn, I was going to say the Rottie too! (Sssh, don't tell the Newfs though) :D
- By Soli Date 09.03.06 19:30 UTC

Best in show?  Ben Fogle in his speccies, yum yum!!!!!!  Course he is an absolute bimbo, couldn't remember Chances sex and thought he was an Australian Mountain Dog then just a Austratlian.............er dog! :D but who cares with such eye candy :p
- By becky_2006 [in] Date 09.03.06 21:17 UTC
i picked up on that too! the owner had to correct him that he was a cattle dog not a mountain dog, and in the end he was just a.....dog!!
- By Daisy [gb] Date 09.03.06 21:18 UTC
Not a cattle dog (yuck :D ) - an Australian Shepherd Dog :D :D

Daisy
- By Isabel Date 09.03.06 21:21 UTC

- By becky_2006 [in] Date 10.03.06 13:12 UTC

- By Isabel Date 09.03.06 21:21 UTC
Still, who can resist a man who can say Bouvier des Flandres with an impeccable French accent. Don't ya just love the toffs
- By sam Date 09.03.06 21:22 UTC
i would hardly call him a "toff" lets face it his old man is a yank:mad:
- By Isabel Date 09.03.06 21:24 UTC
Well, yea you have a point :D but don't you think the situation is redeamable with good schooling? :)
- By Daisy [gb] Date 09.03.06 21:23 UTC
Can I take it that you aren't into a bit of rough then, Isabel :D :D :D

Daisy
- By Isabel Date 09.03.06 21:26 UTC
Oh indeed! My husband is from Port Glasgow, for those that don't know it, think Glasgow and move down the Clyde a bit  but fantasies are different ;)
- By Daisy [gb] Date 09.03.06 21:27 UTC
Oh crumbs - he could be one of my relatives then - my grandparents were from Port Glasgow/Greenock :D :D

Daisy
- By Isabel Date 09.03.06 21:29 UTC
Lovely, we are related by marriage :)
- By Daisy [gb] Date 09.03.06 21:30 UTC

Daisy
- By Isabel Date 09.03.06 21:32 UTC
What, you mean he could be your Grandfather? :D
- By Daisy [gb] Date 09.03.06 21:34 UTC
LOL - not unless he died in 1934 and you are into necrophilia :D :D :D

Daisy
- By Isabel Date 09.03.06 21:40 UTC

- By newfiedreams Date 09.03.06 22:57 UTC
I sent the BBC an E-Mail telling them how BAD Ben was!!! I said the least they could do was to get someone who actually KNEW something about dogs to present it!! LOL MOUNTAIN DOG!!! What is he like!!??? :D :D :D

Out of interest, did anyone watch the follow up programme to when he rowed across the Atlantic?? I think James Cracknell said if he never saw Ben again it would be too soon!!! LOL
- By Isabel Date 09.03.06 23:00 UTC

>I said the least they could do was to get someone who actually KNEW something about dogs to present it!!

Change the habit of a life time? Fat chance! :p

>James Cracknell said if he never saw Ben again it would be too soon!!!

*Slips yet more Bromide into Isabel Tea*

Aaaaaaaargh!  Any more Bromide I might start to wish they would bring back Clare Balding ;)
- By bestdoggroom [gb] Date 09.03.06 21:41 UTC
I am so pleased that the Aussie won best of group :) It was stunning. We watched it in the aussie ring earlier in the day and were very impressed. All the Aussies looked gorgeous in my eyes though!

Congratulations to all you champdogs members that went to crufts today whether you got placed or not,

Yes was a good day! just one thing......dont park on the west car park! took about 3 hours to get off tonight from around 6pm onwards.  North and south people were off in minutes!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:
- By Brainless [gb] Date 09.03.06 23:50 UTC
That wasn't quite so when we left, but the clever Police wouldn't let people onto the M42 (no accident or anything that we could ascertain) and we had to go to Coventry and double back!  Not amused at getting home an hour later when I am back there in the morning for an 8.30 judging start.
- By Goldmali Date 10.03.06 00:11 UTC
Barbara there had been a major accident hence the delays getting out of the car park.
- By Brainless [gb] Date 13.03.06 19:42 UTC
The accident was in the Stafford direction, nothing to do with the M42 Southbound at all.  We had the Radio on to check.
- By sandra762 Date 09.03.06 23:35 UTC

Yeah and the ever young 'India' ( Terv) got group 3 at over 11 years old - now THATS a dog :D

Think the Aussie could go all the way this year but also thought that Bouvier was fabulous !

- By mollaholland [gb] Date 10.03.06 11:53 UTC
glad the aussie got the pastrol he is so stunning love the coulor but i wanted the rottie to take the working
- By Val [gb] Date 10.03.06 12:11 UTC
The Rottie looked very long in the body to me, but not my breed.  Anyone here judge Rotties?
- By universalady Date 10.03.06 15:13 UTC
I've seen her at a number of shows and think she is quite nice. What you have to remember is, she is only 16 months old!!! She's probably going through some changes. I didn't think she was at her best, she seemed tired when she was challenging for BOB, especially compared to Rolex, so I was quite surprised that she got group 4. The bouv' deserved it, absolutley gorgeous:rolleyes:
