new to crate use.
personal experience of size of crate needed for staffordshire, not a puppy.
I appreciate the size of dog varies but if someone could give me some ideas would be great.
sales on the internet dont seem to say staffordshire but other breeds.
Also have a couple of sites saved to purchase one if anyone can recommend type and where to buy would be great.

the 30 inch long by 24 inch high by 21 inches wide woudl suffice, comfortably.

I agree with that. I used that size for my shar-pei and they are not that much bigger than a staffie.

That size would fit my breed if it were taller, as I find their ears get squashed, so use the next size up, which will happily take two of mine.

My staffys all have the 30 inch size and they fitt in comfotably
Plus they are a perfect fit for benching too
Can I asked maybe a silly question whats benching?

At championship shows dogs are allocated benches, these are wooden platforms set up on trestles with metal dividers dividing them into cubicles. There will be a ring at the back to which to attach a benching chain(aChain with a trigger hook at each end, and also two rings at intervals along it's length to adjust the lenght you tether the dogs.

I would say get the biggest you have room for so the dog has room to move about freely if possible.
