Hi all ,
         In April my boss is having his 40th birthday party and the theme is cowboy and cowgirls! Apart from the obvious things like jeans , cowboy hat and boots etc what do cowgirls wear cause I haven't a clue!
Also does anyone have any ideas that are a bit diferent and / or unique. ( nothing too tight tho as there is a rodeo bull and everyone has to have a go )

.....Oh and any ideas of a present because im sort of stuck - he's a " young " 40 by the way

Anything denim I would think, checked shirts (OH just helpfully mentioned Daisy Duke from Dukes of Hazzard) :rolleyes:

Get a checked shirt, tie it in a knot on the belly, a denim skirt, cowboy boots and hat and if u have long hair, put em in plaits :D

Forgive me this wasnt my suggestion, was reading the posts out to OH, and he suggested....no not go as a daisy duke lookalike as every other female will do, but hire urself a cow outfit..COW GIRL..lol sorry...he did say u mite get people pulling on ur udders thou ...its definitley a different route to go down.

how about going as a show girl who would have worked in the saloons they dressed more like can can girls ...LOL

Oh, electronic bulls are fun. You've got to relax everything but your grip. When I used to frequent the country bars in California the regulars wore jeans, T-shirts and very cool boots. (I know admiting that is an embarrassment in this country and my boots stay in the closet here) Indian jewellery, mostly silver and turquoise, belts with native american motifs. If you want fancy dress style how about some collar points (there's a set on ebay right now) or a bola tie. You can take the points off and wear the shirt again.
