They pull them that short so as not to get caught in the cart and tack etc - same as shires have them trimmed right up over here. I used to love my clydies long tail - gorgeous!

The Clydesdales they have at the Budweiser hospitality centre at Seaworld in Florida were docked.I went there with a friend who has horses and asked her as i had no clue any horses were docked
