Hi
I've just completed another cross stitch kit so I'm now at a loose end. I thought maybe I'd like to do a golden retriever kit. Does anyone know of a good supplier and has anyone ever done  cross stitch from a photo and how successful are they? Thanks.

Well why don't you do a good deed :-D

Lab rescue have a few kits I think needing done for charity auctions , how about doing one for them?

I will give you the link the site if you fancy it.

Hi Ange,

I've been looking at Cross Stitch kits recently as I want to show my step daughter how to do them.
There are loads of kits on e-bay, just do a search of the breed you are interested in.
The Choc Lab ones were less then £2.00 plus P&P

Good luck in your search.
Sarah

Edited to add.....although think that the charity ones are a great idea!!!

Hi, I do a LOT of cross stitch kite, just sold about 200 on E-bay as they were taking over my life and in reality I was NEVER going to get them done!! If you particularly want doggies or animals, then FACES do cross stitch kits...the last couple of years they have had a stall in Crufts, but if you search online you will no doubt come across them, I'm doing one of Newfies at the moment, a bell pull and have done a Bernese one too. All the best, Dawn

Faces are a good company I have done several kits by them and am satisfied with the finished product. Never tried doing a photo one but suspect will do one day. I've been slow with cross stitches recently thanks to my little doggy. I find Sewandso the best place to buy my cross stitches from. They currently have some nice doggy charts taken from photos on there in the majoirty of breeds. Hopefully the link is below.

Thanks for all your help. Blue I would be grateful for the link about doing one for a charity auction as there is only so many kits you can do for yourself.
