Well Freya has finally come into season and is trotting round in her lovely black panties. She is obviously happy to wear them as she trots round wagging the tail and then goes for a nap. I haven't stopped laughing thouh :). They don't actually have velcro but a buckle thing. Well I'm off for a giggle!!

Hi Mollymoto, I have one wearing them too at the moment. I always think it's so amusing that they never object, and are just so happy to be seen in these fashion fopahs.

Seriously though, arn't the pants just the cleverest thing.

Hi Dawn,
They are amazing and yet so simple. Maybe are pups aren't commiting fashion fopahs but actually starting a trend! Hee hee. Maybe I'll take her in a wak with them on just to see others reactions LOL Only joking I'm not that mad! :) :) :)
- By Dawn-R Date 05.03.06 17:53 UTC
LOL, can you imagine the sideways glances we would get if we took them out in public with these knickers on. The population of my street already thinks I'm the mad dog lady, that would just confirm it.

i would love my dog to use them but how can they wee in them? when in season she wees all the time and scent marks so they would be up and down like a rat up a drain pipe:eek:
- By Fillis Date 05.03.06 22:09 UTC Edited 05.03.06 22:11 UTC
Does she wee in the house???? You take them off when she goes outside. If she does wee in the house, this is down to training as NONE of mine do, even when in season - it is more likely that the entire boys in the house have that problem when the girls are in season.
- By sallyk [gb] Date 06.03.06 09:26 UTC
of course she doent wee in the house! we have a dog flap so she goes in and out to wee as she pleases
- By Fillis Date 06.03.06 16:04 UTC
Keep the dog flap locked - the local Romeo may have scaled the fence and be waiting to pounce
- By Jeangenie [gb] Date 06.03.06 16:10 UTC
As Fillis says - keep her locked in unless she's outside with you.

We have new people at the end of our garden and they have a dog that obviously doesn't like my 2. He barks at them and has to be pulled inside at times so I'll either out there with her or stood at the door ready to intervene if i have to.
- By sallyk [gb] Date 06.03.06 16:48 UTC
we are surrounded by a six foot wall so i think shes safe!
- By supervizsla Date 06.03.06 16:51 UTC
wouldn't be too sure bout that. a really eager dog could easily jump 6 foot to get to her
- By sallyk [gb] Date 06.03.06 16:57 UTC
my neighbours have no dogs either side and we have a graveyard at the bottom with no dogs allowed and she has been alright so far
- By Jeangenie [gb] Date 06.03.06 17:16 UTC Edited 06.03.06 17:27 UTC
A six-foot wall isn't a problem to a determined dog - in a Working Trial stake the scale jump (for dogs over 15" at the shoulder) is 6 foot. As for there being no dogs allowed in the graveyard - dogs can't read! ;)

Definitaley has to take them off to pee. OH called me downstairs yesterday morn to put them back on her after he pulled them down so she  could go out. What a wuss! :)
- By mollymoto [gb] Date 06.03.06 16:43 UTC
Nothing wrong with being a mad dog lady now. Maybe its them and not you thats crazey!!! :)  Still can't stop ;aughing at her!

LOL, can you imagine the sideways glances we would get if we took them out in public with these knickers on.

We went for a third viewing of the house we are buying, and as my girl was in season and I did not want to leave her unattended at home to play safe (just in case the male dogs broke down a door, you never know!), she had to come too. Complete with her bitch pants. She stayed in the car but we had to open the boot when leaving as we had to put my mother in law's crutches in, so the sellers saw the dog and said hello and they did rather stare at her fetching black pants but did't say anything and I offered no explanation, LOL.

Oh, and let's not forget I also have the incontinent cavalier that wears a belly band. When my ex dropped the kids off he couldn't help but laugh when hw saw them both, like he said "Seen it all now, one dog iwth knickers on and one with a nappy!"
