At 4 montsh I would consider him young to be RELIABLY housetrained, and would keep him out of the bedroom, and keep him to a smaller area of the house unless very strictly supervised.

Keep on with the basics and avoid opportunities for him to have accidents.

He may not have generalised the training sufficiently to understand it applies to all areas in the house, he may just think it is his living areas that should be kept clean.

I agree, keep him off your bed until much older (if you ever want him on there).  Go back to basics - take him out often, and give him a treat when he toilets outside.

My dog used to do this! He is housetrained completely, but he went through a little phase of weeing on my moms bed (And on mine once  ! I was in hospital at the time - I'm sure it was just because he missed me Lol!! )

He stopped soon enough, never worked out why he did it though  !!
