Extract taken from puppy insurance cover booklet,".............there is little nutritional difference between canned and dry food" Ahhhhhhhhhhh, so what happened to canned foods being 75% water???????
- By eoghania [de] Date 29.07.02 13:38 UTC
Water doesn't add or subtract to/from nutritional results :) :)

Ach now Sara, there you're in ahead of me again - I've been perusing another BARF list and discovered that distilled water causes disease and early death!
- By eoghania [de] Date 29.07.02 16:06 UTC
Oh lordy, I'm going to be dead by 50 :D :D I've drank the stuff too
Geesh, doesn't anyone realize that no one gets out of here alive???????
My German grandaddy's fav. saying was "You pay for your living"
My mom loved quoting that to me as she was hitting that 'change o' life'

We're all going to die of something, some day. I'm not going to fash meself about it right now on such a beautiful day :D :D :D

I think that's a wise decision Sara <she said looking serious, thoughtful & profound>.

The health conscious have so many poisonous edibles to avoid that I've decided to launch my revolutionary new FFLite™ Diet Plan. This momentous discovery will ensure that you are very, very healthy for the rest of your life.

You will shortly be able to read about it in my forthcoming book "Food in the Fast(ing) Lane™" (price £19.99), but a sneak preview reveals that the FFL Plan depends upon ingesting no questionable items at all. That of course makes life very simple, as you just don't eat anything.

Naturally the detractors are already busy, and it is said that 99.999% of medical practitioners say the FFL Diet Plan is dangerous because FFLites will starve to death. They sneer that complete starvation takes 60 - 70 days, and is guaranteed to be 100% fatal.

But that's OK - I estimate that with the books, tapes, videos, consultations, live appearances, T-shirts, coffee mugs, donations, newsletter subscriptions et al, your bank balance will have been legally transferred to my Swiss account by about Day 55 of the FFlite Plan, well before cumulative liver damage means that you are no longer able to remember you credit card number.

You have such a wonderful sense of humour, Sharon.... I'm dying from laughing!!! :D :D :D Can my heirs sue you for wrongful death in the UK for that? ;) ;) ;)

Thanks for the good laugh so early in the morn. Looks to be another scorcher. S'ok, they're actually putting in the sidewalk, so I won't be stumbling over the blasted bricks anymore :)

Oooo I never thought that water had nutritional value at all, it was just all the " tinned food is rubbish" we keep hearing, and "how wonderful" complete is, and now apparently there is little or no difference :)

The dry is marginally better for the teeth though, and usually is not as horrible to clear up the waste from the dog!
