I like them.  I didn't like the mis-marked Labs and I suppose it's because the Poodles still look so obviously Poodle :D

So cute!  Though my breed already has these markings and they are accepted, although the silver and white is classed as white and black in my breed.  Brown and white is classed as white and brown as there's more white than brown.  If they were mainly brown with white bits then they'd be brown and white :d

As genetically my breed comes from the same dog as a Poodle I am so glad that these colours are accepted in my breed, such a shame that they're not in Poodles because I think that they look quite stunning.

In England it wasn't so long ago when mismarked Poodles were culled, I wonder if some still do this?  I could never do that to a healthy pup in my breed just because the colours not accepted in show circles.

Do UK breeders of parti colours poodles ever have these pups born in a litter, as I have never seen pet owners with them. Dont want one, just interested.

I wouldn't have thought they would be culled as they are quite desirable by people.  I have had a phantom in a silver miniature litter, and they look lovely, black with apricot markings but as they clear to silver and the apricot clears to white you can't really tell them apart from the actual silvers.

I personally do like the parti-poodles, these are distinctly different from the mis marked poodles which I have seen advertised as parti poodles.

In the book "The Standard Poodle" by Shirley Walne there is the famous painting believed to be by Stubbs  of a parti poodle and standing underneath this is a standard part poodle. - Delightful.

I like them, but I think I preferred the Lab!
