Hi
Can anyone help me. I am pretty sure I booked the Great Yarmouth and Gorleston canine open show, but I have lost my scedule. Can anyone tell me firstly is it this weekend ?
Also if someone has a schedule can you look on the front and tell me who the secretary is and telephone number so I can give her a call.
Many thanks
Rachel
It is this Sunday.
Secretary's name is jackie Carway and Tel.No: is 01603 435077
Thank you so much you are a life saver.

Am hoping to go along to this just for a look. With the weather as it is, can anyone tell me whether it's all outdoors or under cover. Also are there likely to be any papillons there? Thanks
Its been years since I last went to this show so I forget now. But I thought it was outside showing. Also it is a small show but I do remember papillons being shown. Unless I am mistaking this for another show that I went too there years ago. Sorry not much help. Someone else may be able to say.
Are you thinking of getting a Papillon ? Quite often the breed clubs hold a champ show or open show of their breed. Its a good idea to go along to these because you can get to see tons of dogs shown and you can go and speak to breeders. I dont know much about Papillons though.
Thanks for the reply. I do have a papillon who is just over a year old. Just a pet as she's a slight mismark but have been doing quite a few companion shows and really enjoyed it. Also found a ringcraft class which is good fun too. I'm thinking ahead a year or more but I would one day really love another papillon but hopefully one that I can try 'real' showing with. There doesn't seem to be that many open shows within a reasonable distance to me so thought it might be nice to have a look on Sunday. I am going to Crufts on the toy dog day and there should be over 200 papillons there that day.
Well Crufts is a good place to view the dogs I must say. Try to have a chat with some breeders. They will gladly give you details of what you are looking for in a papillon. Also they will tell you if they are breeding next year. You may be able to get onto a waiting list. You can always go along to the show Sunday anyway. If you do, and you pass a blond woman with a Weimaraner, its probably me. Say hi.

Hi Rachel
Hope you had a good day Sunday. Sorry to say I didn't make it. It was so cold to be honest I chickened out. Thanks for the tips, I will certainly be trying to talk to some papillon breeders on Saturday.
It was freezing. Yes we had a really good day. My bitch got Best of Breed, my puppy got Best puppy in breed, then Gundog puppy group one. So that was really a good day, but I was so cold that it took me ages to warm up again.
