Can anyone suggest a good feeding bowl for my CKCS, she is only 8mths old and fed wet food, and Oh Boy what messy ears we are now getting and wet ones when she drinks.

You would either need to find a 'Spaniel bowl' they have small tops and steep sides, or get hold of a snood to keep her ears out of the mess.

Cut about 12" off the leg of an old pair of tights to make a tube.  Pull this over your pup's head so that the front is behind her eyes and the back is around her neck, holding her ears out of the way, just while she's eating.  Then take it off - clean ears! :)

I had the same problem with harvey. I used a sock and cut it into 3 " bands - he wears a little headband now for eating and sits nicely to have his 'snoodly doodly' put on:rolleyes:No more stinky messy ears!

My dogs have prick ears, but I did not like any of the dog bowls I saw in pets stores or by mail order.

My dog's now eat their meals from cheap crockery made for people.  You might want to try something like a rice bowl or even a cereal bowl - both have steep sides.   Any of the department stores or even supermarkets like Sainsbury will have what you want.
