My Cavalier's coat is rather smelly - she's groomed and exercised regularly. Even after bathing her coat still seems smelly. She's very lively and happy. Any advice as to what to do - or is there anything I can give her?

Hi. Just wondered what you feed her? My Cav pup was a bit wiffy when he came to me fed on pedigree. I now feed naturediet and he doesn't smell at all. Sometimes his face gets a bit smelly so I give it a little wipe over with a fragrance free baby wipe:cool:

My puppy smelled really doggy when I brought him home and he was being fed Pedigree as well. I switched him to Royal Canin and he doesn't have any doggy odor any more.

When I used to groom dogs  I could always tell which were fed pedigree as they all had a distinctive smell to them.

Thanks for your reply. Kira is 14 months old now and is fed on NaturDiet. She was on heat until last week and the whiff isn't as bad now - let's hope it goes away altogether! Thanks too for the other two replies which were sent from other doggy lovers.
