As well as what tohme suggested, you could also consider:
Glucosamine & chondroitin,MSM,green lipped mussel,shark cartlilage.
There are also various homeopathic treatments you could try,but you would need to give more info.
Is her pain made worse by movement?
Does it get worse with inactivity and often better with movement.
Stuff like that :)
painful all the time- when she has been sleeping then gets up
when we go for a walk she suddenly starts picking leg up
i may try acupuncture, also shes going to hydrotherapy once wound has healed.
the ligament on the right one had snapped off too.
left hip is very mis-shapened- looks pointy on one bit! must be horrible..
she is only 7months old tho- would these supplements be ok- she is also quite sensitive too!
thanks

You cannot OD on FBO, Vitamin C would be to bowel tolerance, Vitamin E is also hard to OD on.
As a general rule I recommend 1000mg of Vit C per day, 200 - 400 iu of natural Vitamin E daily for dogs depending on size and 1000mg of FBO although the DHA/EPA content is what matters; Healthspan are excellent.
Generally speaking human supplements are designed for a bog standard 150 lbs, so you could pro rata the dose if feasible.

Tohme - a query on the dosage of Vitamin C. I have some Vitamin C tablets - they are 60mg. The recommended dose (for adult humans) is one tablet a day - so your recommendation of 1000mg would need 15+ tablets a day ?? Is this correct ?
Thanks
Daisy
Just checked out another site and see that these Vitamin C tablets are VERY low strength LOL :D :D
