I have just matted my bitch, she has bben L2-HGA tested clear and HC tested clear with an unaffecte PHPV/HC test...(before anyone asks) :)

Shes on day 21 and all she wants to do is eat and sleep, she also cries constantly!!!
I have noticed a slight chnage in her nipples but nothing major..

Is it too soon to see any major signs??

Please help, Im pulling my hair out, and am becoming wierdly obsessed with the size and colour of her boobs!

I couldn't tell at this point with my bitch, she just seemed to be putting a bit of weight on around the 5 week stage, by 6 weeks I knew she was for sure.  Had to reply though the comment about size and colour of teats made me laugh..........................it's too true :-)

Thanks Stacey, honestly I have even contemplated brinign a ruler home to measure them to see if they are getting bigger! I think Im losing the plot!

i know how u feel, you do become obsessed, my had puppies in november. We couldnt tell that soon, i think by about 4 weeks her nipples were pinker and we had her scanned at 5 weeks to confirm. We used the sheep scanner she comes to your house and is very accurate.  Fingers crossed for you.

also too she could be having a phantom and some people say if you cluck over her while she is having a phantom the symptoms will get worse and last longer

I'm a great believer in the saying ''patience is a virtue'' Why not just wait and see, maybe I'm old fashioned but I don't like the concept of scanning just for pregnancy confirmation or head counting. I have scanned once, but that was because the bitch was very very unwell one morning at 5 weeks in whelp.
