Hi as anyone tried the dogmatic head collar ,as i was speaking to someone who has just got one and it looks good, as it does not go into the eye any comments on this item.

I don't have one, but I've heard others speak highly of them.

They're excellent - can certainly recommend one although only the leather version.  Haven't even seen the fabric one but have read on here that they come in various colours :)

Brilliant i think i will get one i got a halti 2 weeks ago tried 2 different sizes but both seem to go in her eyes and then she is rubbing her head on my leg and knocking me over as we walk,have you tried the gripper lead as well?

No - can't help you on the lead front I'm afraid :)  I know there have been a few members recently discussing the Dogmatic so if you put it into the Search facility you may find some info there that helps until someone else comes along.

i have dogmatics for my two, but i have the webbing ones. One red one and one blue one. They're fab, and my dogs don't object to wearing them.

I use a dogmatic (fabric one) for my Dobe girl, and it's the only headcollar out of quite a few I tried that didn't go into her eyes, I know quite a few people who use them and they all think they are great.

I have been using a dogmatic for the last 2 years. I could not do without it. It does not ride up over the eyes & my GSD soon got used to wearing it. I have the leather one (I have 2 actually), but have found that the leather loop, (which has the ring fixed on it to attach your lead too) has worn out quickly. I have kept them supple with leather cleaner, but they seem to wear at the part which keeps the leather loop fixed to the headcollar bit. This is the only problem with them, however I did return one to the Company because of this, but they were good enough to send me a new one. I would recommend them.

I can highly recommend the leather dogmatic.  Have used them for a couple of years now and love them.  I did try the new fabric one but found the noseband very narrow, which seemed to rub.

Yeah,we use the leather one. Only collar/headcollar to hold her and she's puts her nose in it herself for walkies, so I'd say Rowan(dobe)thinks it's comfy enough.
