Me and my dad are trying to find a male malamute in Houston,Texas. We want to breed one with a female chow since their both from the huskie family. If anybody has a male malamute and willing to breed with a chow, please leave your name and number. Thankyou.

Good God!!!!! Why for heavens sake? So they are both from the husky family......so whats your point? There are many malamute owners on this board, I am certain they will be able to give you many, many valid points as to why NOT to do this!!!

If you MUST breed, why not with a Chow. After all you and a monkey are both primates but I don't expect youv'e given that a thought. Totaly Jackie

That was Mad scientists using gorilla mother to get a super strong human for military purposes. There was an accident at the lab, and the little boy who was fathered by the prof was taken and he eventually was brought up as his child. At first he couldn't talk, and needed to have an op to correct this. rather chilling drama it was, as he tried to find out about his past!

Before you even attempt to breed puppies, please talk to someone who knows more about the subject of unwanted mutts. Dogs live 10+ years. Litters can contain more than 12 puppies. Is it ethical to breed on a whim???? Absolutely Not. :(

If any Malamute owner would contribute a stud to your "experiment", it's probably a suspect individual. NO responsible and caring owner would do such a thing!!!!!

Consider contacting the any of the following organizations to see how many UNWANTED dogs/puppies already exist in your local area.
All are located in Houston!!! Quite a few, eh? :rolleyes:

According to statistics on the info page, over 100,000 animals are euthanized in the Houston metropolitan area!!! Shameful! :(


There are 6 other locations for no kill/adoption shelters online, but any of these would give you a good start to research how your region needs LESS mutts, not more.

I'm also thinking of a Chow/Mal mix brrr Talk about potential for hairy, stubborn, and aggression problems !!!! You don't need or want to do this. Please don't :(

The mind boggles!!! Why, oh why do people try this sort of mating deliberately? I know someone locally with an American cocker Spaniel dog who recently had a stud booked with an English Springer bitch as the prospective mating! Luckily the dog is over 3 years old and has never mated a bitch - he apparently took one look at the Springer, crawled into his cage and cried - this is one of those instances where the dog has much more sense than the owner.

In my opinion putting two pedigree dogs together has to be carefully planned etc, knowing the backgrounds to the dogs, and making sure what hereditary problems are in the breed and what to avoid. Making sure that both dogs are hip scored, eye tested or what ever else needs to be done.
With all this in mind why add a new strain into the dog. IT may bring in a new set of problems.
Malamutes are a wonderful looking breed of dog it would be a shame to put a cross to it.
Find yourself a pedigree sire. I am sure if you contacted American kennel club they would be able to help you find a dog living near you.
