"fat boy" is now 5 weeks old and just starting to eat from a bowl
he eats what he wants ( which is everything and always wants more) and leaves a clean bowl, he also drinks water now .
the problem is he still has his bottle 3 times a day ..... how do i wean him off it ?

You gradually cut out the bottle. The litter I hand reared were just getting a morning and night 'comfort bottle' with less milk than they would have liked at 5 weeks. By 6 weeks they only got a brief suckle of the bottle at night and by 7 weeks they were off the bottle altogether. I made sure they always had plently of clean drinking water, kept a close eye on their weights and continued to give them their complete food with some puppy milk right up to 8 weeks. After that they got complete food and water only.
