Hi all, this is my first ever post.
I was wondering if anyone could be be of any assistance, the more opinions the merrier!
I've been looking for a small breed of puppy for a while & have managed to narrow it down to two breeds, but i really can't decide between them The two breeds in mind are The border terrier & the Lhasa apso. I know that both of these would be suitable for me, but the question is which one more so??...
I live in a medium-large sized house in the country, have two good sized gardens, a cat, two other dogs & two children age 3 and 5 (who are very gentle with my pets). I only work part time & am at home most of the time. I want my future puppy to be able to travel well & able to go to public places with me!
I have had border terriers before so Iam familiar with the breed, yet I i'm very tempted by the Lhasa apso as they look just gorgeous! so... what do you think??? Thankyou for your help!

BT for me.  Easier to maintain coat wise and boy a lot of fun.  Don't think I'd own one myself but they do seem to be real characters :d

i would say a border terrier to they are such good dogs they need alot of training as they are terriers and they can be fisty

Thanks, I think it will end up being a border terrier as I know what to expect with this breed tho I'm not totally decided yet! :rolleyes:

LOL- Yes Margo is a great name whichever way it's spelt!!!

We had a border terrier years ago - he was a lovely little dog - went by the name of Tramp and he and my no 2 son were inseperable from the time the local gamekeeper "gave" him to Noj on his 4th birthday!

Later he became known as the Border Terrorist because he and our Lab of that Time - Jet - he of the large body and very little brain :rolleyes: made a fearsome twosome and got into all sorts of trouble ....... but that's a load of other stories :D
