My dog is fighting sarcoptic mange at the moment, and we are using Stronghold on vets advice. Though she is in the middle of a 3 month treatment, she has new eruptions near her eye. I have read that sometimes to clear the mite you should dose 2 weeks apart initially. Am seeing my vet again about it on Friday, but am wondering if I need further Stronghold, whether I can buy it off the net cheaper than the vet, which is working out pretty expensive at the moment.

I think you would need a prescription from your vet then you could probably get it from canine chemist or somewhere like that :)

You can get Stronghold cheaper from vet-medic.com but you do need a prescription from your vet before doing so.  It is half the price that our vet was charging.
