i've just read a very interesting article in the january edition of readers digest for people interested in loosing weight. basically it states that it is all about " tweaking " off calories using small changes in your diet.if you loose  250 calories a day you will loose 2 stone per year without any great effort eg if you have a boiled egg instead of a brownie you will save 200 calories. looks good to me. could be worth a look.

Thats how Ive managed to lose 2 1/2 stone. I changed sugar to sweetener. Normal sausages to healthy ones. Bacon to turkey rashers. Blue top milk to red top. Cut out margarine/butter etc. Im at a plateau at the moment though. Just cant shift anymore!!

I only ever drink blue top when in Tea at customers houses but have tried and tried to drink red top. Spent a month only drinking red top but it just didnt work. i hated it as much after a month as I did the day I started :( So now stick to Green top :D :D :D

We've drunk skimmed milk for about 15 years :) At work I have to have semi-skimmed :( - I just hate it in tea, it tastes so creamy that I just have the tiniest splash :D I can't drink tea at all with full cream milk in it and can only take a small amount of it in coffee :D

I believe that was another of the things you should do to loose weight!!!!
My 10 year old son nicks the RD off my mother before she has chance to read it, reads it back to back, informs me of the interesting articles, I then read them and then hand it back to mum!!!!!
