Hi there,I have a douge de bordeaux puppy who is 9wks old and i am starting to get worried that i'm not feeding him right,I have been giving him 50% pets at home large breed puppy complete mixed with 50% prize choice minced chicken or tripe.
I thought i was feeding the right thing but the more i read about feeding on here i'm not so sure and the more confused i get coz you guys really seem to know what your'e talking about.
The breeder said he was on 50% Autarka puppy mixed with chicken and tripe, but i think it was like raw chicken and tripe from a butchers or something not the stuff you get in a packet from pets at home and the pets at home large breed puppy complete mix was the only one i could find, but when i read about it on their website i says you shouldn't add anything to it but he dosen't seem to like the biscuit much on it's own anyway but he seems to enjoy the chicken and tripe, although i'm still a bit concerned about feeding him the chicken raw.
Does anyone have any advice on feeding a dog like this,I would ask the breeder but i don't want to bother him every 5 minutes with questions but i'm just really anxious that i'm doing the right thing for my dog so can have the best start in life.Any advice would be appreciated.

Your breeder, if a good one, won't be annoyed at you contacting him/her about feeding - s/he has brought the puppy up so far, and initially at least, you are better to continue the same feeding regime.
Talk to your breeder, continue reading up about feeding, and you will eventually find the method of feeding that best suits your pup and you.
