What is a normal age for a first season? My yorkie is nine months old and hasn't had her first season yet should I be worried?

No, I wouldn't be worried. Bitches vary for their seasons, and the time between seasons also varies. It's frustrating when you are waiting for their first one, though, isn't it ;)

My Cav was 2 weeks short of 12 months when she had her first - her mother and sister were very late too. Sometimes it runs in families, but not always! :-)
