my dog is 65 days in whelp, her temp has been 98.7 all day she has been panting a little bit and digging, she lost a black tar like fluid an hour ago but has now gone to sleep, can anyone tell me is this normal advice much needed

Call your Vet for advice.

I've had a few litters and don't like the sound of it - I would definitely call the vet.

Hi that does'not sound to good you need a vet now do not wait she may have a dead pup blocking the way for the rest.

thanks very much for all your advice, my dog had a c-section last night ,she had 8 puppies but sadly one was dead it was stuck, other 7 are now suckling from mum, shes still  not fully awake yet will keep yous posted ,thanks again
