hi all i know that there are a lot of advice on the board abot weaning. But which one is best for SBT.
i have a litter of 10comming up to 4 weeks.mum is brilliant with them, and they are all growing well. shall i start puppy food like pedigree chum, and if so do i mix with water or milk. and also do i give water to drink or milk. sorry if i sound a bit dumb but my brain is a little scrambled with the pups

That is an incredible bitch.  I would have had to start weaning pups as soon as their eyes opened with a litter that size :D

At four weeks with tetth mine would be on soaked puppy food (not even mashed at thsi stage) and meat also for one meal, and all meals witha  drink of puppy milk.

At first I amke a runny gruel from mashed soaked puppy kibble mixed with a puppy formula, mine get a 1/4 pint each a day by 4 weeks, and I gradually increase the puppy food but not the milk, sometime after 6 weeks I gradually reduce the milk if the pusp motions show any sign of becoming less solid.
