It may sound likr a dumb question but can you still show bitches if they have been spayed?? i'm guessing you cant show dogs as it states in the breed standerd that they should have there bits!

Yes you can. :)  All you need to do is inform the Kennel Club that they have been spayed.  You can also show castrated dogs but most judges will penalise lack of "bits" ;)

i wish i knew that a few years ago! i wanted to show my weim but he got snipped so i was miss in formed that he couldn't be shown!!! hes 10 now so how recently did these rules stand? hes a really good type for the standerd! and has a lot of good breeding in him!!! ( how annoying :mad:)

It's over 10 years ago I think as my Beardie Ch was spayed in the 1970's & I got persmission to show her just after they changed the rules to allow dogs & bitches without offspring to be shown
