Hi thanks for a quick replie!! please can you go in to it a bit more? is it some thing the dog does or is it more the owner??  i'm resherching in to cavaliers at the moment and keep coming accross it! I went to my first dog show on sunday at manchester so not really up on the lingo!

Thanks again  :)

Have a look at the KC JW claim form it gives the number & type of wins required http://www.the-kennel-club.org.uk/kennelclub/documents/junior_warrantform.pdf

If you are thinking about doing it think carefully it drives you nuts:mad:  There is a competion held called the JW gazzette competion towards the end of the year but you have to qualify in September time at a open to do it.  We did and had a excellent time but this time I am not going there with my boy as it actually got me stressed.  The good thing is your dog will get a stud book number if you obtain one. :)

Just from curiosity, would a win in Maiden Bitch at an open club show count? I know my girl's got no hope, but it would be fun to know whether she has 1 point or 2!! :-D

How many were present in the class?

I agree with you thomas the spot, Alfie has 3 months to go before he is 18 months and he has 17 points; now he has hurt his leg and is hop skipping and jumping all round the ring :(  Ive entered so many shows to try to gain it, his breeder even mentioned in her christmas card how nice it would be for him to get it and to top it all off his sister got her last 3 points at Manchester

You can get points from any class provided there were 3 present in the class.

We actually turned up to a show were there were only 2 and even though we got BOB we still got no points

Dont worry Claire we got our last points with 2 days two spare on Tigger. :)  Molly on the other hand who is the lesser dog and had more competition did it with months to spare.
