I read the exact same ad in my paper today.  Are you in my county?

You're a long way away from me Polly :) I'm in Herts.

Does this mean it's a national advert? How sickening :(

Hello all,

I'm a Herts girl as well!

I also recently saw an advert for spaniel crosses, wait for it,.... a Working cocker bitch mated with a Clumber dog, all I can say is poor girl.

Ouch :(

Im in Herts too, I have seen similar adverts sellings any kind of dog you can think off for quite a while now. Nearly got roped into it once when we were enquiring about a dog. The owner reckoned that they new someone who lived in my area (they were south herts, im north) and said they were visiting that evening, they said they could bring the puppy along with them. It was obvious they were expecting me to fall in love with it and keep it. I got offered other crosses they had too, it was pretty obvious something dodgy was going on so obviously i declined! Makes you wonder what happens to those pups though, if no one buys them.

These ads are in most local papers ...our paper has been running three different ads for the past few years :(ALL of them offer a huge variety of breeds

Im in Cornwall and i have seen alot of those type of adverts on the interneat.Including those with free delivery. How do they manage to be able to breed loads of different dogs?Surely they do not own all these different breeds. If not then do then buy the pups to sell on and if so where do they get the pups from. You would of thought that no one in their right mind would sell someone a whole litter of pups. They MUST know its not right.

i think they get them from other puppy farms. my friends husband used to work for a lady who would send him to wales to by litters of pups mostly small breeds( yourkshire terriers and kcs) he brought back 15 pups one time (all different breeds) and with in the week they all had died of parvo:mad:.
