i received the following email to my work today. i thought it had to be shared i cannot get my head round it

Dear Sir,

We are a China based leading manufacturer/trader of pet accessories items.

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our disposable pet nappies to you, attached please kindly find the
picture of our paper pet nappy.

These disposable, odor-resistant nappies are ideal for use accidents can't happen. 10 dog nappies are included in each
pack.

    Features:

Ten dog nappies are included in each pack.
    Elastic gathers protect against leakage.
Non-sticky, adjustable fasteners. Won't pull hair.
    Anti-Bacillus Polymer virtually eliminates odor.
    Comfortable tail hole.
Specifically designed & shaped for use on pets.
It is cheaper than normal fabric type nappies.

An added benefit to using our nappy is the super absorbency. The non-stcky tape is innovative and unique. It makes
re-applying the nappy very easy even on hairy dogs. One of the major complaints of pet owners and veterinarians who are
using nappies currently is the fact that applying the tape on baby nappies is extremely difficult due to the amount of
hair. With the magic-tape hair will not impede the connection and again re-application of the product is very easy.

I hope we can work together in the future, and if you have any questions, please no hesitate to let me know, thanks a
lot, looking forward to hear from you! We will be very glad to offer you the price and send you the nappy sample on your
requirement.

Best regards & have a nice day.

I use dog nappies for puppies..... many of my friends use them for Chihuahuas or Papillons. Quite handy, specially if it's raining outside ;) .

many of my friends use them for Chihuahuas or Papillons

I think that's sad. :( Even tiny dogs are proper dogs and will behave as any other dog if given the chance -in my experience all dogs are what people make them. My Papillon is tiny, 2,8 kgs, and he certainly has to go outside to wee regardless of the weather, and he does obedience and is getting pretty good at it.  I've always made a point of treating him like my big dogs. Same rules for him as for them. Imagine what people would say if anyone put nappies on a Labrador instead of taking it out because it rained.......

On the other hand I use belly bands on my Cavalier, but that is because he is almost 100 % incontinent (medical reason, nothing else), and it has made a huge differece to his happiness and ours -he doesn't have to be constantly wet, doesn't need baths 3 times a week anymore, and the house doesn't have to stink. But he still  goes outside just as frequently of course.

I've come across dog-nappies before, when surfing the net. These sites have been american, I believe. Couldn't understand what they were , at first. They come in different sizes, and of course with flowers and laces  for the girlies.  Apparently there is a market for those in America, even though I wouldn't think there are any restrictions on walking dogs over there  .
Dog-nappies are probably a side effect of the current rage for minute dogs. Sad, really. Only time I would ever consider using one, is like Goldmali said, if an old dog would benefit from it.
Still, no dog of mine will ever be forced to wear flowery nappies with lace trimmings  .

my mum once fashioned her own nappy for one of her bitches in season- we had a small child crawling about and cassie insisted on pacing about- the nappy worked well- i think she only had to wear in the day for 2 weeks. so not the same as those ones for toileting! those people must be lazy (+clueless!)
