Hi

This is my first post on the site i wonder if anybody could help please.

Do all Kerry Blues have docked tails ?

Not if the breeder doesn't want them docked.  If you are interested in one contact as many breeders as possible and recommended by the breed Club and ask them if they dock of if they do whether they would mind keeping a tail on if you so wish.

It all depends on whether the breeder has had them docked by a vet or not.  I would say the majority of them are docked.

The KC breed standard states : Tail - Customarily docked. Docked: Set on high and carried erect. Undocked: Set on high of moderate length to give an overall balanced appearance. Thick at the base and evenly tapering to tip, straight as possible and carried jauntily. An excessively gay or curled tail undesirable.

Can you also show dogs that have not had there tails docked

Yes - all customarily docked breeds have a description of how a full tail should look in the breed standard.

Yes. The standard describes the appearance and carriage of both docked and undocked tails.

As a undocked Kerry ever been in Crufts

Not sure, but I would guess that there have been Kerrys across from Europe to Crufts, and they would be undocked. You are probably better talking to the secretary of one of the breed clubs.
