Hi all,

A freind of mine told me she had put a deposit on a lab today she said the one she has picked has a small white line on its chest. Is that OK ? I didn't think so but thought I would ask any of the Labby people. It is apparently KC reg and hip and eye tested.

Just wondered..

Pam,

As far as im aware white is allowed on chest unless the KC have changed the standard.

Hi Pam.
A small white spot on the chest is allowed, wouldn't worry about a small line if the dog is a pet.

My lab is kennel club registered , but has a white patch on her brisket (chest). I think it only matters if you want to show them.

Thanks all I'll let her know as I was not sure. I have never noticed marks before on them but again maybe I never really looked. I was more concerned she was actually gettign what she thought she should be. So it should be fine and it is a pet also. I think it was a fairly good price also.

Thanks BFN

Pam
