just wondering if anyone works in car insurance could do with some advice??

Don't know if I can help, I don't actually work in car insuance but I work in the auto industry and work quite closely with insurance companies.

Sorry to push in - car insurance - anybody know of companies that insure people over 80 (except Help the Aged & Saga) ?. Poor Dad, driving for 62 years, no accidents, no claims.........can't find any companies apart from these two.

Hi arched,

Off the top of my head I can only think of Age Concern and Virgin Money on top of the 2 you have already got there that would insure drivers of that age.

The other thing that might be worth a try is to call one of the bigger companies and ask them to recommend someone. The brokers especially (banks etc) should have a list of more specialised insurers.
