Hi all new to this web site, have been looking around the puppies available & breeder pages and came across a particular member advertising the dogs she has owned, bred, shown and puppies they have available now for sale.
Iwas a bit suprised to see that a number of the names related to these dogs where not the same as when originaly registered ( when born ) with the kennel club. They have also got a litter of puppies advertised with the name of the mother showing an affix ( at begining of name ) that was not the affix that was originaly on the dog when it was bred by themselves.
Also they are advertising another dog who has done very well when he was shown even winning RCC at crufts ( this is what caught my attention regarding this as I remembered him winning the rcc but new the affix was different to the one he is supposed to have now at the begining of his name ) but look at the name in the crufts archive and he has the affix which he was registered with but go on show results and his particular page and the affix is different( at begining of name ). What are peoples views on this sort of thing happening as surley when looking at puppies pedigrees that are put on this particular website to help sell thieir puppies the names should be right, and the info about their other dogs the information should be correct.
As I was under the impression that until recently when the kc brought in that if a dog goes back to breeder as long as certain conditions apply the breeder can pay to have the affix removed, once an affix was applied to a dog before or after the name it could not be changed to a different affix even if 2 affixs were owned you could not swop the name to the other .
