hi we have a 3 yr old westie she has recently started making these grunting throatie noises especially when feeding or sniffing ,,,help please

I was just about to post about my three year old westie grunting aswell. The last couple of days he has been doing it but not all the time it sounds in the morning like a cough then nothing all day then maybe again at night i always think he's going to be sick. Any ideas?
