Hi,

My little Dachshunds hair is falling out on his rib cage.I took him to the vet and they examined him and did a skin scrape but found nothing.The thing is,he has'nt got totally bald patches he still has a bit of undergrowth (hair has been sheared off).

Anyway my vet thinks its psychological/behavioural because he does'nt like being away from me.
I wondered if anyone knows of anything I can try on him? shampoo?spray? or vitamins?
At night the poor little chap has been dresses in my little girls vest to try and stop him biting it out!

Any help would be gratefully apprieciated,

My Flatcoat bitch had similar problems after she was spayed. Despite numerous test they could find no reason for it, we ended up assuming it was the 'stress'after her op, sorry not a great deal of help, but she did quickly recover her coat.
